Does anyone have an easy red wedding punch recipe? It's for my daughter's June wedding. Thanks!
By cara adams from AL
This is the easiest punch recipe around. This makes one punch bowl's worth.
2 envelopes koolaid - cherry or strawberry flavor for your daughter's wedding
Mix the koolaid as you would normally do with the cup of sugar and 2 quarts of water for one envelope. I use two envelopes to make sure that the color is dark. Chill the koolaid, pineapple juice, and gingerale until ready to use. Then pour the koolaid into the punch bowl, add the pineapple juice and gingerale. It can be served over ice but chilled in punch cups without ice is much better to me.
Hint: Make an ice ring for the punch bowl using cherries, green grapes, and strawberries. Make sure that your ice ring will not be too BIG for the punch bowl. Just don't forget to put it in the punch bowl. lol
This recipe can be used with any flavor of koolaid. I have used it for years and years! I originally got it from my Mother who also used it for years and years.
Hope this helps and that the wedding is beautiful!
My grandmother mixes one large jug of Hawaiian Punch with a 2-liter of 7-Up. Instead of ice, she puts several scoops of vanilla ice cream in the punch bowl.
Hawaiian Punch
Sprite
Pineapple Juice
Ice
Mix for desired taste. Everyone loves it we use it for every family party.
This recipe is from a lady for whom I used to work. She catered MANY weddings and the following is her simple recipe. Cold ingredients. 1 large can pineapple juice, 6 cups cranberry juice, one 2 liter bottle ginger ale. Do not add the ginger ale until serving time as it will lose it's fizz in about 15 minutes (in any punch).
My family has been using this recipe for years. Tke 3 Parts Fruit Punch to 1 Part of Ginger Ale or 7-Up. Also for every gallon of punch add a large can of cold fruit cocktail in pear juice.
As an extra bonus you can freeze orange juice, pineapple juice and white grape juice in cubes or rings and use those as ice, so as they melt down, it will not water down the punch.
When serving make sure the punch is stirred so that a little of the fruit cocktail gets in the cup. It is to die for!
Here is the Punch recipe my family has always used and loves:
In a gallon container mix 2 koolaid pkgs (we use one cherry and one orange) with 2 cups sugar and fill to top with water. Mix with 2 liter of 7-up or any off brand like and 1 quart of orange sherbet.
A very easy, recipe
1 package of strawberry koolaid
1 cup sugar
2 qts water
1 12 oz can frozen orange juice
1 12 oz can of lemon lime soda
Mix koolaid and sugar, add to 2 qts of water, add with the rest of the ingredients in punch bowl. If not serving right away, wait to add soda.
