Anyone who has thrown a semi-formal party or planned a wedding knows that chair covers are a huge cost. I'll let you in on a secret. Pillowcases.
I used white standard pillowcases and tied them back with tulle. The pillowcases can be bought in bulk at Sam's Club, saving you TONS of money. The possibilities are endless by simply changing the style and color of the ribbon tie-backs. These fit perfectly over the back of your average-sized folding rental chairs.

Very creative. This would also work for in the home, if you wanted chair covers.
No matter which type of covers are you using but if you decorate it properly it always look amazing..
Another thrifty way for cover ups is to buy those inexpensive fleece throws 50" x 60"at the Dollar store or Walmart for $ 2.50-5.00 and fold them in half the way that will fit your item and sew or pin up the sides and turn it inside out and they fit perfect on a couch or a puffy loveseat! Great way to cover up old worn out furniture.
