I made up this "mock" centerpiece to try out the floating pearl centerpiece idea for wedding reception guest table.
Total Time: 15 minutes plus 6 hours waiting time
Yield: 1
Link: Bungalow Daisy
Supplies:
- vase
- water beads
- pearls
- water
- submersible LED light

Steps:
- In a large bowl, add 1 teaspoon of water beads and then four cups of warm water. Let set overnight or for at least six hours until the water beads increase in size. (Depending on the size of your vase, you may need to use more water beads and increase the ratio of the water as well. The vase I used was very small)
- Once the water beads have increased in size, your vase is ready to decorate.
I used a small strainer to dip them out of the bowl, doing one layer at a time. Add pearls or other decor such as flowers, embellishments, etc. on top of each layer. Then, fill with water to the top of the vase. Last, add a waterproof submersible LED light.
