If you're looking to save money for your wedding, try to book your ceremony and reception during off-season wedding months! Off-season wedding months may vary depending on your location/venue but you could always ask what are the off-season months as reference to the places you're interested in.

Example: The venue we're going with:

  • Peak Season is: May, June, July, August, September, October, December

  • Off-Peak Season is: January, February, March, April and November
In addition ask for any further specials/discounts to help accommodate your budget. Generally, if you book during the week or on a Sunday it'll be cheaper than the popular Saturday. Avoid holidays as they will be more expensive or booked already.

Note: If you do plan on having your wedding on a weekday, you may want to ask in advance if guests would be able to attend since they might have to take a vacation/day off from their jobs. On the bright side, if you do have guests flying in, it would be cheaper to fly in on weekdays than the weekends too.
