I made these table toppers for a wedding reception. My thrifty idea was to make them as inexpensive as possible as well as to make the table toppers recyclable for the the bride and groom as they begin newlywed life.

Supplies:
- 1 glass
- 1 CD per table topper
- 1 silk flower per topper - the bunch cost $3
- 2 bunches of small decorative flowers - these were also $3 per bunch
- 1 tea light per topper
- 1 napkin ring per topper
- 3 pkgs. stringed pearls
Steps:
- I got the glass I used at the Big Lots summer clearance for 62 cents per glass.
- I purchased three bundles of flowers from the Dollar Tree. There was one stem of white roses, one stem of coral roses, and one stem of coral foliage. Separate the bundles into individual pieces.
- I used two smaller floral bundles. I purchased one bundle of white roses and one bundle of aqua jeweled and ribbon roses. Again separate the bundles into individual pieces.
- The tea lights were only 20 cents for a dozen because I used a $5 coupon on eBay! The 3 pkgs. of small pearls were 10 cents apiece at a sewing/craft warehouse.
- You will need to purchase or make wooden square napkin rings. (My husband cut squares of wood and used a router to make a large hole in the middle.)
- Using a glue gun, glue one large silk rose to a napkin ring.
- Arrange the small flowers and coral foliage and glue onto a CD.
- Wrap and glue the pearl strings onto the tea light and glue a small flower onto the pearls.
- Glue the tea light to the CD. Then glue it to top of the glass, after placing a napkin ring inside of the glass. All done! The finished project cost less than $2 per per topper. The glasses and napkins rings are reusable, the CDs could be used as coasters, and of course the tea lights could be used for other projects.
