It doesn't matter if your guest book is an expensive one or one with little covering and embellishment.

I hate guest books at family gatherings! Usually only a page or two is filled and afterwards they just sit in a box somewhere. Well, for my wedding we did something more fun!

We want to use a vinyl record as our guest book at our wedding. Any suggestions on the best type of marker to use?

You could maybe use a gold or silver paint pen. They make some with glitter too. Sharpie pens come in a wide variety of colors, tho I would do a "test signing" on another record to see which is the best.
Good luck and congratulations!!

What a neat idea.
A white or bright colored fine tip paint marker would work best. I would also give the record a light couple of sprays with clear plastic spray paint to preserve the signatures when the wedding is over.
