Ways To Plan a Frugal Wedding

I got married in October so I used the flowers in season. This was very cost effective. I also did a small round two layer cake to cut, and did a sheet cake in the kitchen to serve to the guests.

Planning a wedding on a budget is not hard but you need to be resourceful. here are lots of ways to trim costs, but the first place to look is at the guest list. If you overinvite, it is difficult to stay within your means. My kids made their preliminary list and we revisited it multiple times and were able to make substantial cuts as we discussed it. To our surprise using Costco wholesale for flowers and invitations can be a huge costsaver, who knew all things that Costco makes available to their membership.
