Using Tea Candles on Tables

To make your use of tea candles on your tables sparkle, inside of the clear bowl you are using, pour table salt about a third of the way from the bottom. Place your tea light candle in and squish it around so that most of it is covered by the salt.

Two reasons for using salt is the flame from the candle is reflected off the salt and really sparkles like diamonds and secondly, for safety, salt puts out fire, so if the candle is tipped, the salt puts out the candle.

This is my favorite way of using tea candles.
